    Not long ago I bought a new monitor for my grind setup. For years I used a 25inch ASUS HDMI monitor, 1900 x 1080 resolution with integrated speakers. With a total weight of 12 kilo I was quite satisfied with the monitor but if you travel, like a real poker nomad 12KG in your case is quite a lot of weight. This time I wanted to get a higher resolution and less weight, so I can have more tables open and easily travel between different locations. After looking around on Amazon I found the ASUS PB278Q 27inch with a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a total weight of just 8.8 kilo (19.4 lbs) which is easy to travel with.

    Pro’s for a poker player:

    – You can have up to 20 tables open at the same time without overlapping, very nice for multitabling / running multiple sites.

    – You can turn the screen 90 degrees, so if you want to have it as a monitor with your all your tables on or showing the lobbies with available tables, its perfect for both.

    – light weight compared to the big size, easy to bring with you in your luggage

    – Full HDMI with amazing colors, perfect for watching strategy video’s

    Cons for a pokerplayer;

    – The price is a bit higher for this type of monitor compared to other 27inch monitors but you will get a very high quality monitor for that money.

    Conclusion:

    This monitor is a very good monitor for any professional, traveling poker player, with the huge resolution of 2540 x 1440 you will have space for a lot of tables + Pokertracker 4/ HEM2. Ordering from Amazon is easy and delivered to you anywhere in the world within a week.
