Like most Latin American cities, the official language of Buenos Aires is Spanish. However, English is widely spoken and understood in most areas.
The nightlife is Buenos Aires is the best in South America. All over the city you will find bars, restaurants, tango halls, and nightclubs which stay open all night long.
Cost of living
PokerNomads moving from Europe or North America will find cost of living reasonable. The pesos are much cheaper than Euros, Pounds, and Dollars. Inflation has led to a slight increase in the overall cost of goods and accommodations. Still, Buenos Aires is still much cheaper than any European destination.
Buenos Aires has very well connected public transport system. Both the subway and the buses are quite cheap and is your best option for moving around in the city.
Buenos Aires has a humid subtropical climate with very humid summers and mild winters. Winter is still sunny but the temperature drops with the occasional frosts.
