There are many language spoken in Berlin with German as the main language. The majority of the people under 40 speak English and it’s a very multicultural city with open minded people. There are several beautiful parks and a river runs through the city. Berlin has a lot of cool old buildings that are rich in culture.
This is the best party scene in Europe. Many places open on Thursday and stay open until Monday morning. There is always something going on. Many of the best DJs in the world are Berlin residents. There are multicultural working girls everywhere. Swingers clubs are popular and brothels are legal.
Cost of Living
For around 500 Euros you can get a cool apartment in a great location. There are also reasonable hostels, hotels, and guest houses everywhere.
Berlin’s transportation infrastructure is highly complex and provides a diverse range of urban mobility. Every possible mode of transportation is available.
Cheap taxis are everywhere. Metro and trams run until 2AM.
Berlin has a temperate seasonal climate. The winters are still quite cold, there will be snow and freezing, but not as bad as many other northern cities. Summers are beautiful and the sun sets around 10PM. One third of the city is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes.
